IT Trainer

Part Time

We are looking for an IT Trainer to prepare and conduct students training courses on IT skills and proper computer usage. IT Trainer responsibilities include identifying educational needs, designing educational material and ensuring all employees take basic computer training. If you know how to design engaging courses to explain technical procedures and best practices, we’d like to meet you.

Job Description

Major Task

  • Assess students’ skills to determine their needs and to develop teaching plans
  • Plan, organize, and assign activities that are specific to each student’s
  • Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment
  • Teach and mentor students as a class, in small groups, and one-on-one
  • Develops schemes of work, lesson plans and tests that are in accordance with established procedures
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress, development and track their progress
  • Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures
  • Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies
  • Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and parents regarding student progress and student needs
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development
  • Assign and grade class work, homework, tests and assignments

Skills and Requirements

  • Communication Skills: You must be able to speak clearly to students, other teachers, parents and administration officials.
  • Instruction Skills: You will have to explain new ideas and unfamiliar concepts with authority and in a clear and concise way so that students can understand. You must work to keep the students' attention
  • Writing Skills: Teachers write progress reports and notes home. Writing skills are critical.
  • Patience: The students you work with will have different backgrounds and abilities. Patience will help teachers deal with students who act out or have trouble following the material.
  • Creativity: Teachers have to find ways to involve students into their lessons. Additionally, teachers may have to work with different learning styles to get the most out of each student.
  • People Skills: Engaging parents and creating healthy relationships with students and faculty will help create a quality learning environment.
