Hands-on experience through real projects in technology, business, and education. The kind of work that translates to a portfolio, not a transcript.
Bridging academia and industry through skill development.
At Kidocode, we shorten the distance between what universities teach and what industry actually does. We partner with university faculty, government bodies (we are proud to work with the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation), and corporate teams to put students on real problems with real consequences.
Three things our partnerships consistently produce.
Collaborate with active professionals on current problems. Students see modern industry pace and rigor up close.
Contribute to research projects that bridge academic insight and industry innovation. Co-publication possible for serious contributors.
Four ways we work together.
- Internship Program. Structured tracks for university students and fresh grads across educators, developers, designers, sales, customer success, marketing, finance, and business operations.
- Workshops & Boot Camps. Joint workshops co-designed with university faculty. AI fundamentals, hands-on robotics, entrepreneurship intensives. Run on campus or at Kidocode branches.
- Research Sponsorship. Sponsor research questions Kidocode is exploring (constructivist pedagogy, AI tutoring, age-appropriate AI literacy). Funded student research positions available.
- Employer Program. Hire Kidocode interns for full-time roles after their internship. We have placed alumni in tech firms, education ventures, and startup engineering teams across Malaysia and Singapore.
Events highlight.
MoU signings, joint workshops, on-campus talks, training cohorts, and the occasional hackathon judging panel. A cross-section of what active collaboration looks like.
