The full text below is binding. The summary above is for orientation.
Enrollment
Enrollment is per-child for a defined package (Padawan / Knight / Master) over a defined period (1 / 2 / 3 years). Pricing is per the pricing page at the time of enrollment, locked for the duration of the package.
60-Day Pass-or-Refund Guarantee
Within 60 days of starting the program, your child takes our internal assessment. If they pass, the package continues with no further conditions. If they don't pass, you receive a full refund of the package fee.
This is a one-time-per-child guarantee. We honor it without dispute.
Payment
Packages are paid in full at enrollment OR via 0% installments over 12, 24, 36, or 48 months. Installments are processed through our payment provider and require a valid Malaysian credit card (or arrangements with our team for international families).
Late payments may pause access to classes until resolved.
Scheduling
Most packages are flexible-schedule. You book sessions through the parent portal. Cancellations more than 48 hours before a session re-credit the hour to your bank. Cancellations less than 48 hours before count as used. No-shows count as used.
Holiday camps and intensive blocks have different cancellation rules; specified at the time of booking.
Curriculum changes
The curriculum updates regularly to stay current with AI tooling and market needs. We reserve the right to add, remove, or modify topics without notifying you in advance, provided the overall scope and quality of the package is maintained.
If a major curriculum change materially reduces what was promised at enrollment, we will communicate it and offer a pro-rated refund or transfer option.
Code of conduct
Kids are expected to behave appropriately in classrooms (no harassment, no destruction of equipment, no inappropriate content in projects). Repeated violations after warnings can result in removal from the program with a pro-rated refund.
Trainers are expected to behave appropriately in classrooms. Concerns can be raised confidentially via team@kidocode.com.
Photography and social media
By default we may photograph kids in class for our own marketing purposes (gallery, social media, ads). You can opt out at enrollment, in which case your kid's face will not appear in any external materials.
We don't use kid project work commercially without explicit opt-in.
IP and project ownership
Anything your kid builds during a Kidocode session belongs to your kid. We retain a non-exclusive right to feature the work (with your permission) on our gallery, social media, etc.
Termination
You may cancel your enrollment at any time. Refunds are pro-rated based on hours used:
- 60-day refund window: full refund (Pass-or-Refund Guarantee)
- After 60 days: pro-rated refund of unused hours, minus any one-time setup fees
We may terminate enrollment for unresolved code-of-conduct issues, non-payment, or fraudulent enrollment. Pro-rated refund applies in the first two cases.
Liability
Kidocode is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Maximum liability under any claim is capped at the fees paid for the affected package.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
